What to do with Broccoli Stalks?

Most people i know will buy a head of broccoli , use the florets and discard the stalks... But why? If you can cook them and serve as a side or just to snack on... Delicious!!!!

Cut the stalks into thick slices. Boil them for 15 minutes or until soft but not falling apart, with a little bite to it( Al Dente). Drain the water and squeeze 1 lemon on it, sprinkle salt and pepper.
